🍊 Alcohol Awareness Week (6th – 12th July 2026)
Take a moment to check in with your drinking habits this Alcohol Awareness Week.
It’s a chance to reflect, make positive choices and support your wellbeing. Small changes can make a big difference with this national campaign led by Alcohol Change UK it encourages people to think about alcohol and the impact.
This year’s theme is ‘Alcohol and Me’ and focuses on how alcohol may be affecting our lives.
Alcohol can impact sleep, mood, productivity and overall wellbeing and we can raise awareness by encouraging open conversations which will help create a supportive workplace where people can feel comfortable seeking help.

💚 Samaritans Awareness Day (24th July 2026)
Take a moment to remember that support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Samaritans are there to listen without any judgement or pressure and every conversation can make a difference.
Samaritans Awareness Day raises awareness of the support available to anyone who may be struggling.
This year’s message 'It’s time to stop whispering about suicide' can encourage you to have open and honest conversations.
We can all play a role in creating a supportive workplace by promoting open discussions and signposting help where needed.

💜 Disability Pride Month (1st – 31st July 2026)
Take time this month to recognise and celebrate Disability Pride Month.
It’s an opportunity to reflect on disability as an important part of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Rooted in disability rights movements, the month highlights disability as a valued part of human diversity.
This year’s theme 'visibility, intersectionality and disabled leadership' focuses on recognising different experiences and also ensuring disabled voices are heard and represented.
The month also raises awareness of ongoing challenges and the importance of creating inclusive environments.
By listening, learning and making positive changes we can all contribute to a more supportive workplace.
