Talking about suicide can be difficult, but it’s one of the most important conversations we can have. This session explores the impact of suicide in a safe, supportive, and empowering way, helping participants feel more confident in recognising warning signs and responding with care and compassion. 


During this evidence-based session, grounded in latest guidance and suicide research, attendees will gain practical insight into how we can all play a part in creating suicide-safer workplaces and communities. Participants will take away a message of hope: that recovery is possible, and that every conversation has the potential to save a life. 

Session objectives:
By the end of this webinar participants should be able to:

  • Summarise the impact of suicide.
  • Identify some commonly held beliefs about suicide.
  • Understand how certain thoughts and beliefs may be contributing to stigma.
  • Explain some of the signs and risk factors of suicide.
Develop the knowledge and skills to respond to thoughts of suicide.
